The Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe
The Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe in the United Kingdom has been established for over one hundred and sixty years. Today, the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe (ZTFE) remains the oldest established religious voluntary organisation in the UK of South Asian origin. Zoroastrians are recognised as one of the nine world faith communities in the UK, although we are the smallest. ZTFE being the premier Zoroastrian organisation represents the interest of the Zoroastrian community with the UK Government, interfaith, religious and educational institutions. It continues to serve the community in Europe both at national and international levels from the secretariat at the magnificent Grade II* listed art-deco Zoroastrian Centre in the London Borough of Harrow. We at the ZTFE strive and succeed in building cohesion and happiness between Mazdayasni Zarathushtis from different parts of the World and of different ages, together with family and friends.

Coinciding with the spirit of Maidyozarem Gahambar is the VE Day Big Lunch marking the 80th Anniversary Remembrance & Lunch at Zoroastrian Centre on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May 2025 at 12 noon
We are delighted to invite you and your families to a special remembrance service by our Ervad Sahebs followed by delicious lunch prepared by Farida Vora at the Zoroastrian Centre on Bank Holiday Monday 5 May 2025 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day.
VE Day marks the formal end of World War II in Europe—a day of immense historical significance, when the guns fell silent and peace began to return to the continent. As we celebrate this milestone, we remember with pride the vital role played by the ZTFE and the Zoroastrian community, particularly the Parsees, in the war effort. From the battlefield to the home front, our community contributed with courage, skill, and dedication during both World Wars in Europe, Africa and Asia.
As part of the commemoration, we will hold a short prayer ceremony to honour all relatives who served in WWI and WWII. If you would like your close relatives to be remembered during the prayers, please send their names to our ZTFE Hon Treasurer Javid S Canteenwala at [email protected] and ZTFE Admin Secretary Roshan E Avari at [email protected] by 28th April 2025. We would also be pleased to highlight some of the achievements of our community and their family relationship with our members in the UK.
Boi ceremonies to be live streamed in May 2025 are listed below.
