Fun Club Classes: NoRuz - Meaning, Significance & Traditions!
NoRuz Party for all children which will consist of an arts and crafts activity, party games and a visit from Amu NoRuz (Uncle NoRuz!). Contact Shazneen Munshi 07981286752.
For our older 11-17 age group, we will be planning a few ice breaker games aimed at helping the teens to get to know each other better.
Lunch will also be organised as follows:
5 years old and under = Free, 6 - 12 years old = £7 per child, 13-18 years old = £9 per teen, £12 per adult
If you or your children have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know asap.
As always, each child will receive a special NoRuz gift from Amu NoRuz (Uncle NoRuz), thanks to the generosity of the “Simin and Shahrokh Shahrokh NoRuz Children’s Fund”.

Sun, 09 Mar 2025  is the Day of Reflection across the UK for the COVID-19 pandemic. ZTFE will mark this day by our Ervad Saheb preforming a 'Hama Anjuman' ceremony in the Setayasht Gah, at 5:00 PM, to collectively remember those who lost their lives since the COVID-19 pandemic began and to honour the tireless work and acts of kindness shown during this unprecedented time. Tea and refreshments will be served afterwards. All are welcome.

Muktad / Panjeh Ceremony as per the Iranian Zoroastrian calendar  
Muktad / Panjeh ceremony will be performed in the Zartoshty Brothers Hall, Zoroastrian Centre, by our Ervad Sahebs followed by a Boi ceremony in the Setayasht Gah during the Gatha days (Gaah-e Gatha Biyoo) according to the Iranian Zoroastrian calendar.

ZTFE has been celebrating the Parsi Zoroastrian festival of Jamsheedi NoRuz since 1906!  
A Jashan ceremony will be performed by our Ervad Sahebs in the Zartoshty Brothers Hall followed by a Maatchi ceremony in the Setayasht Gah.  
The Atash in the Setayasht Gah will be lit for 24 hours.  Those desirous of visiting the Setayasht Gah for worship during the day on Jamsheedi NoRuz or any other time, please inform our  ZTFE Resident Priest Ervad Yazad T Bhadha on 075 3326 9051 or our Facilities Coordinator Ratan D Buhariwala on 079 5688 1462.
On Jamsheedi NoRuz ZTFE will be felicitating Jasmine Dotiwala OBE who was honoured in the New Year's 2025 list. 
VVIP Guests : Deputy Lieutenant of Harrow Simon Ovens, Gareth R Thomas MP – Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Services, Small Business and Export Gareth R Thomas MP.
A celebratory 3 course freshly cooked meal consisting of fish, chicken, and lamb prepared by Zoe Foods including starters and dessert will commence at 7.30pm.  Non spicy / no chilli or Vegetarian  options will be available, but please request in advance. Please inform us in advance if you have allergies.  All are welcome!  Please ensure all diners have their tickets on them ready for collection as a headcount will be conducted by the ZTFE together with caterers.  Thus it is important to vacate the Zartoshty Brothers Hall if you are not dining to ensure diners can take their seats according to the seating plan.  Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated. DJ Justin will play light music during meal time, followed by disco music from 10pm till 1pm.

Jashan will commence at 6.00 PM. 
ZTFE will be felicitating Maira Shernaz Bana BEM who was honoured in the New Year's 2025 list. 

The Jashan will be followed by Meet & Greet Jamsheedi NoRuz Mubarak and have nibbles at Cash Bar from 7.15pm.

Around 3.30 PM following the meal, there will be talk by Dr Alexandra Buhler titled 'Zoroastrianism in India and Iran:  Persians, Parsis and the Flowering of Political Identity'. 
Tea and cake will be served after the talk
To celebrate the auspicious Parab of Adar mah, Adar roj, our Ervad Sahebs will perform a Jashan ceremony in the Zartoshty Brothers Hall, followed by a Maachi ceremony in the Setayash Gah after the Jashan. A simple meal will be served afterwards. The Jashan and meal are sponsored by Roshan, Malcolm and Freddy M Deboo. 
The entire proceeds of the meal tokens will be donated to ZTFE Mobed Fund.  Vegetarian and non spicy option available but please request in advance.  Meal tokens £10/- per person. Kindly register by emailing <[email protected]> by 15th April 2025.  All are welcome!

The ZTFE’s  CZC (who serve the older members)  & Fun Club (who serve the younger members) collaborate during Jamshedi Navroze time annually to organise TOYZ - Together Old and Young Zororastrians.

The annual 10 days of Muktad ceremonies commenced  from Tuesday, 5th August till Thursday, 14th August 2025. Atash was  lit in Setayash Gah for the entire duration of the Muktads and all the 5 Boi ceremonies were performed in the Setayash Gah and the 3 Satum ceremonies will be performed daily in the Zartoshty Brothers Hall at the Zoroastrian Centre. The Uzirin Gah Boi ceremony will be livestreamed daily after the Anushe Ruvan nu Jashan & Satum ceremonies.

The Schedule will be as below:
  • 11:00am: Havan Gah Boi ceremony.
  • 11:30am: Satum ceremony .
  • 1:00pm: Boi ceremony.
  • 1:30pm: Satum ceremony.
  • Satum ceremony will be performed, following the Anushe Ruvan nu Jashan.
  • Uzirin Gah Boi ceremony after the Anushe Ruvan nu Jashan & Satum have concluded. This Boi ceremony will be livestreamed.
  • 9:00pm: Aiwisruthrem Gah Boi ceremony.
  • 12 midnight: Ushahin Gah Boi ceremony.

  • Monday to Saturday: 5:30 p.m. UK Time
  • Sundays: 4:30 p.m. UK Time
The Anusheh Rawan nu Jashan ceremony begins with all present Ervad Sahebs reciting the Atash Niyash and Doa Nam Satayeshne.

The ceremony will be officiated by all Ervad Sahebs present on the day. There will be one Ervad Saheb who will be the Zoti / Zaotar - officiating the prayers who will be aided by another Ervad Saheb, Raspi who will be tending the fire. A third Ervad Saheb will be conducting the Farokshi - reciting prayers from the Fravardin Yasht. All other Ervad Sahebs present will join in with the Zoti /Zaotar and Raspi.​

ZTFE celebratory Shahenshai Navroze Relaxing Lunch on 23rd August 2025 at the Taj St James' Court Hotel, Edwardian Banqueting, 54 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AF. The ZTFE Shahenshai Navroze celebration at the Taj St James' Court Hotel will commence with a celebratory Jashanat 12.15 PM  performed by our Ervad Sahebs, followed by a delicious lunch from 1.30 PM

A Jashan Ceremony to celebrate the birth anniversary of our prophet Zarathushtra will be performed by our Ervad Sahebs in the Zartoshty Brothers Hall, followed by an Anjuman Maachi ceremony in the Setayesh Gah. 
The Shahenshai Khordad Sal function has been made possible by an endowment from the estate of late Dr Homi R. Pithawala.  We are most grateful to the Pithawala family for their generosity.
A celebratory meal - main course prawn Parsi style curry rice, prepared by Zoe Foods will be served afterwards. All are welcome! Tickets only £10/- for all.

A Jashan ceremony sponsored by Phiroze, Roshan & Homi D Munshi will be performed by our Ervad Sahebs followed by a Humbandagi to celebrate the auspicious Parab of Ardibehesht mah Ardibehesht roj. Ardibehesht Amesha Spenta also known as Asha Vahista represent Best Order, Truth and Righteousness, is the protector of the Holy Fire and is linked to the plant marjoram.

ZTFE Patron, Benefactor and Philanthropist Mobed Mehraban J Zartoshty 13th Varsi / Saal Prayers followed by Prayers for Peace &  Meal.
Mobed Mehraban Jamsheed Zartoshty, our Patron, Benefactor and Philanthropist, passed away in San Diego, California on Friday 6th July 2012, Tir mah, Fravardin roj as per the Iranian Zoroastrian Calendar.  The ZTFE would not be where it is today without his generosity, support and inspiration.  Mobed Mehraban left behind a proud legacy comprising the many institutions he supported with his philanthropy and which included the ZTFE, the BPP, several chapters of FEZANA, the Atash Behram in Yazd, the schools and institutions in his beloved Iran, the J J and B D Petit Parsee General Hospitals in Mumbai, the Bilimoria Hospital in Panchgani, Ancient India & Iran Trust in Cambridge and above all, the prestigious School for Oriental & African Studies in London.  May the soul of Mobed Mehraban always Bless us from his abode in Garothman! 
After concluding the Varsi Jashan, our Ervad Sahebs will recite a Zoroastrian prayer for peace and end of hostilities between Israel & Iran.
A Boi ceremony will be performed in the Setayash Gah after the Varsi / Saal prayers.

Lunch will be served thereafter.  Vegetarian option and non spicy non vegetarian options available, please request in advance. Tea and cake will be served around 5pm. Meal tokens £10/- per person. All proceeds donated to ZTFE Mobed Fund. Kindly register by 4th July 2025 via email <[email protected]> and make payment to ZTFE NatWest Bank account or pay cash or cheque on the day.  All are welcome!
We urge all to come and participate in the Prayers and partake in the meal afterwards and remember our benefactor Mobed Mehraban Jamshed Zartoshty who has rightly been described as the greatest Zoroastrian philanthropist of our times.

2. Tuesday 15th July 2025 – 5.30pm, Aspandarmad mah Aspandarmad roj Jashan, Boi & Meal
  

Our Ervad Sahebs will perform a Jashan, followed by a Humbandagi to celebrate the auspicious Parab of Aspandarmad Amesha Spenta, dedicated to the protector of the Earth and to revering Beneficent Devotion. A Boi ceremony will be performed in the Setayash Gah after the Jashan. 

Following the Boi ceremony, Adil Writer a noted ceramic artist, painter and architect from India will be making a short presentation on ceramic pottery. Adil has been invited to conduct a workshop at the International Ceramics Festival in Aberystwyth, Wales. 

A hearty meal will be served afterwards. Non vegetarian and vegetarian option available, please request in advance. Meal tokens £10/- per person. Entire proceeds will be donated to the ZTFE Maintenance Fund. Kindly register by 11th July 2025 and make payment by bank transfer or by card with the ZTFE Secretariat via email [email protected] or phone on 077 5198 5764 between 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
