The Zoroastrian Migration Stories Project, supported by Voluntary Action Harrow and funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, has been led since January 2025 by ZTFE volunteers Shiraz Sethna, Shazneen Munshi and Ruby Sethna. This inspiring initiative captures the powerful migration stories of Zoroastrians who made the UK their home, preserving their voices, memories and journeys for future generations.
We wish to take this opportunity to acknowledge, with gratitude, those whose courage, resilience, donations, voluntary service, and sacrifices helped establish and shape the ZTFE since 1861 and the wider Zoroastrian community, making it possible for current and future generations to thrive.
This event celebrates the opening of the formal exhibition at Headstone Manor & Museum (the local history museum for the London Borough of Harrow) in May 2026, alongside other community heritage projects funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
To mark this milestone, two ZTFE workstreams join forces; the Zoroastrian Migration Stories project team, in collaboration with the Care in the Zoroastrian Community (CZC). We warmly invite you ALL to a Heritage Celebration at the Zoroastrian Centre on Saturday 23 May, where we will share highlights and early outcomes from the project. The evening will continue with the much loved annual CZC concert, featuring performances by our own talented Young Zoroastrians Ervad Frazan Kotwal, Maya Kumana and Firoze Madon.

Payments to be made in advance by bank transfer
Please note that seating will not be pre-assigned. We kindly encourage guests to arrive on time at 4pm to secure their preferred seats. If you arrive after the event has begun, you may be asked to wait briefly before entering the hall to avoid disrupting performances and presentations. Thank you for your understanding.
Exciting Raffle prizes will also be given away at this event, so make sure you bring cash for the raffle and drinks served at the ZTFE bar.
CZC’s Shared taxi (for older people and their carers only) at £10/- extra per passenger will be requested at time of booking/ email with full address of pickup and phone numbers of passengers.
Donations to the CZC funds are welcomed. Your donations are being put to good use. We shall present details of CZC’s current and planned activities in a brief statement at the event.
