The “S – night” YZ fancy dress party was held in April 2006, which resulted in a successful and entertaining night! With the objective of getting guests to dress up as somebody famous, or anything, which began with the letter “S”, this broad theme encouraged extensive use of imagination amongst the guests. A brilliant disco and plenty of pizza to go around was the recipe for an impressive turn out!

The new YZ t-shirts, which went on sale during Navroze in August, were a massive success owing to their chic and innovative style, which was immensely popular with the Young Zoroastrians and even the older generation. We have more t-shirts to come, so don’t think you’ve missed out just yet! You just have to be quick.

The next upcoming events are as follows:

  1. November 30th, 2007 – Fancy a night out, indulging into some of the finest authentic Indian dishes that Masti restaurant and bar has to offer? There will also be a chance to meet a lot of new people, as well as dancing through the evening to a live DJ. Please note that this event is only open to those of you who are aged 16 or over.

  1. December 9th, 2007 – As Christmas is quickly drawing upon us, the YZs are holding a Christmas party at the Zoroastrian Centre for all the XYZs. This will be a great opportunity to get your children to play, meet the much talked about Santa Claus and get involved in stimulating games. Parents are more than welcome to join in the fun and watch your children expend their excitement.

  1. Early March (date to be finalised) – Think you’re a mover? Want to have a shot at arguably one of the trickiest forms of dance? Then the Salsa Night is for you! Come along and learn how to Salsa! First timers are MORE than welcome to attend, learn and partner with different people and most of all, enjoy the aesthetics of the Latin American art!
